Managing Meld Club Plus

How do I cancel or change my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, choose Meld Club Plus, and cancel or switch plans there. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the current period ends.

I paid but don't see Plus — how do I restore it?

Open the membership screen in the app and tap Restore. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase. If it still doesn't appear, email us.

Refunds

Because Apple processes all payments, refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Playing the game

Do I need an account?

No registration is required. Offline games and progress are saved on your device. When you use a private table, Firebase creates a random anonymous identity so the service can recognize your seat and reconnect the same installation.

What's free, and what does Plus add?

The lesson, Rookie opponents, optional coaching, basic local statistics, one new solo table each day, and one hosted private table every rolling 24 hours are included at no charge. Invited guests always join free. Meld Club Plus adds unlimited hosting and solo games, Club and Expert opponents, complete saved house-rule presets, advanced history, streaks, records and achievements, plus every premium collection.

How do I invite friends?

Choose Play with Friends, create a table, then share its six-character code or invite link. Up to four people can claim seats; computers visibly fill every opening. The table is private and unlisted, so there is no public matchmaking queue.

What happens if someone disconnects or leaves?

A disconnected seat shows a reconnecting notice and is held for 30 seconds. After that a disclosed computer continues until the original installation returns. Explicitly leaving replaces the player immediately and cannot be undone for that game. If every person disconnects, computer-only play stops and the table is kept for 24 hours.

Is my game saved if I close the app?

Yes. Your current table is saved automatically, so you can pick it up again from where you left off.

How do the computer players work — is the deal fair?

The three computer players follow the same rules you do and only act on public information plus their own cards — they never see hidden cards. Every table shows a deal ID, and the shuffle is generated from that ID. After a completed game, you can replay the same hands; the normal free daily-table limit applies.

Accessibility

Table Settings include a large-card mode, reduced motion, and an adjustable computer pace. If something is hard to read or use, please tell us — we want the table to be comfortable.

Privacy & data

Meld Club collects very little. Private tables temporarily process anonymous identity, display name, presence, and game state so invited people can play live; hidden hands are separated per player. Pseudonymous analytics and diagnostics use a different random app identifier and can be turned off at any time in Table Settings. Read the full Privacy Policy for retention and processor details.
